Can't Do This Alone

I died, so I could hold you tight in My arms once again.
I bled, so you wouldn't have to feel this pain ever again.
Please don't reject Me; I love you so dearly.
I want to be with you forever so sincerely.

I know how you feel inside; I hear you when you cry at night.
Why won't you let Me take your hand and walk with you, be your guide?
I long to be with you in times of good and bad.
I'll wait here patiently until you ask.

This is getting out of hand; I can't survive on my own.
I need You here beside me; I can't do this alone.
Jesus, please forgive me for all of my sins.
Please cleanse me and change me from deep down within.

I'm so glad you came back home; I've been expecting you for quite a while.
Please come sit down at My feet, and I'll tell you stories, My little child.
Now, you are in My arms where you are safe and warm.
I promise to protect you from any and all harm.

Its good honest emotive which genre are you writing for that would give me better insight in to how it might sound ect.

Thank you for writing this lovely poem. I think it was exactly what I needed to hear to help me with my own personal struggles and doubting faith. When we mess things up it is sometimes hard to come back to God because we wonder how God could love us after what we have done. It is wonderful to be reminded that no matter what we do or how far we may stray God is always there waiting for us to come back to Him. Keep up the good writing and stay strong in your faith.

I look forward to hearing this being sung and played too, Mel. It's beautiful. I love it. Keep up your wonderful writing, never stop. And you should post your stories on ehre, the ones you sent to me. THey rock.
